Current Research Projects

ANTHROPODERMIC BIBILOPEGY: Human Remains. This article documents my current research project focusing on the reclamation of exhibited human remains and the curation and management of Indigenous art associated with these remains; in particular management in the digital domain. The research project supports requests from several Indigenous Australian groups for the return of funerary remains. The following is an article on the subject that I recently had published in Ngoonjook: a journal of Indigenous Australian issues. It can be found here in pdf form.

MULTIMEDIA STRATEGIES AS AN INDIGENOUS DISSEMINATION TOOL FOR PRACTICE-BASED RESEARCH. The above Keynote Address was presented at the Indigenous Researchers Forum in Alice Springs (via video link from Georgia) in July, 2007. The work forms the basis of my most recent research project. Details on the presentation and the associated master class can be found at this LINK.

THE MULTIFARIOUS IDENTITY. This work formed the basis of my PhD. The work is currently being redeveloped as an interactive multimedia work for publication. The complete text is available here in PDF form. DOWNLOAD Contents Page PDF | DOWNLOAD Exegesis Main Text PDF
